Please ensure access to MSI Jira & MSI Confluence, both are accessible through OKTA. For additional information and details please refer to the Atlassian migration page
How do I anonymize a user?
If an end user requests to be made anonymous within Avigilon Alta, they should contact their Avigilon Alta administrator and ask that their personally identifiable information (PII) be removed.
Note: These instructions apply to users who are created in Avigilon Alta. If a user is synced to Avigilon Alta via an identity provider integration (Azure AD or Okta, for example), then any changes must be made within that third-party platform.
To anonymize an Avigilon Alta user:
Go to https://control.openpath.com/login and log in. To access the European Alta Access, please go to https://control.eu.openpath.com/login.
Go to Users > Users and click on the user to edit their details.
Change the email address to a fake email. We recommend using Avigilon Alta’s designated domain for anonymous emails, for example,
user@noemail.openpath.com
.Delete any PII, including First and Last Name.
Delete the user’s photo by clicking on the photo, then select Delete from the dropdown.
Click Save.
Once anonymous, the user can continue to:
Use their mobile credential to access entries.
Use their key card or fob to access entries.
However, without a valid email address, the user will not be able to:
Re-provision their mobile credential on their current device or a new device.
Log into the Alta Access system (assuming they had admin access).
