How do I set a static IP address for my Avigilon Alta Controller from my computer?
The current Openpath Jira and Confluence instances will be migrated to the MSI On-Premise solution from August 9th-11th, the current platform will be set to read-only and all future usage will be in the Avigilon Instance. How do I set a static IP address for my Avigilon Alta Controller from my computer?
If you need to configure your firewall around Avigilon Alta, you can set a static IP address for the controller (ACU). Alternatively, you can use the Alta Access app to configure ACUs. See How do I use the Alta Access app?
Requirements:
A laptop or computer with Bluetooth
Google Chrome
The ACU must be on the network and have received a DHCP IP address
To set a static IP address:
Using Google Chrome, go to https://control.openpath.com/localadmin. To access the European Alta Access, please go to https://control.eu.openpath.com/localadmin
Press the ADMIN button on the Core or Controller Board
On the ACU Network Configuration page, click Get current network config
Update the address field with a static address
Uncheck DHCP
Click Update network config
