The current Openpath Jira and Confluence instances will be migrated to the MSI On-Premise solution from August 9th-11th, the current platform will be set to read-only and all future usage will be in the Avigilon Instance. How to set up the InstantCard integration

Sync your users to InstantCard’s online platform to quickly create customized ID badges on Avigilon Alta cards.

Avigilon Alta customers

If you’re an Avigilon Alta customer and you’d like to request custom Avigilon Alta cards, contact your integrator. They will set up the integration with InstantCard.

Avigilon Alta partners

If you’re an Avigilon Alta partner, follow these instructions for setting up the InstantCard integration.

To import Avigilon Alta users into InstantCard:

  1. Go to https://control.openpath.com/login and log in. To access the European Alta Access, please go to https://control.eu.openpath.com/login.

  2. Create a user with read-only portal access to be used by InstantCard.

    1. Go to Users > Roles and click the plus(+) sign in the top right corner to create a role and give it READ permission for View users.

    2. Go to Users > Users and click the plus(+) sign in the top right corner to Create a User.

      1. Enter an email (must be a valid email address that you can access).

      2. Enter a useful First and Last Name (InstantCard Bot, for example).

      3. Enable Portal Access by clicking the toggle, then add the role you just created.

      4. Click Save.

  3. Add Avigilon Alta to the InstantCard portal.

    1. Click on your account name, then click Openpath API.

    2. Enter InstantCard Bot’s Alta Access login credentials, then click Save Changes.

    3. Go to Cards > All Cards, click the orange Import from Openpath button, select the badge template, then click Schedule Import.

4. Preview, edit, and purchase cards as desired.
