The current Openpath Jira and Confluence instances will be migrated to the MSI On-Premise solution from August 9th-11th, the current platform will be set to read-only and all future usage will be in the Avigilon Instance. How to upgrade/downgrade Allegion Lock and Gateway Firmware

Upgrading firmware for online Allegion Locks and Gateways can be done in 2 different ways.

The easiest way is to follow this guide. The 2nd way is to follow the steps listed below.

To downgrade Allegion firmware you must follow the steps below.

Locks in No-Tour mode are offline, so you must follow the steps below to upgrade or downgrade their firmware.

Upgrading/Downgrading Firmware:

  1. From the Engage App, select a device from your device list, then navigate to Update Firmware.

2. You need to hold down the Update button to get a list of firmware.

Note: Just clicking the Update button will update to the latest firmware which might not yet be supported by Avigilon Alta.

 

3. Finally, find the Alta-approved firmware, from Approved Firmware and select to update.
