How to co-term your Avigilon Alta Subscriptions

In our subscription model, each subscription has a distinct start and end date. This can lead to complications and confusion for the service provider and the customer, particularly when managing multiple subscriptions simultaneously.

If you “opt-in” to co-term the subscriptions, we will combine the licenses, set a single renewal date for the next year of subscriptions, and bundle the licenses to the most effective package available.

For example: Purchasing Multiple Entries Throughout the Year

On February 1st, you purchased a pack of 5 Basic entries; in March, you added another set of 5 Basic entries. Traditionally, the subscriptions will renew on their respective purchase dates. However, if you make the subscriptions coterminous, before the first renewal date (Feb 1, 2022), the subscriptions will combine into a pack of 10 and have a single renewal date.

Example:

Feb 1, 2022

Mar 1, 2022

Feb 1, 2023

Feb 1, 2024

Feb 1, 2022

Credit is given for 1 month of Basic 5 pack on the renewal invoice

Notes:
● Co-terming will end existing subscriptions that are not up for renewal and a new single subscription will be created.

● The co-termed invoice will have the full subscription costs and any credits from the unused time will be applied to this invoice.

Once the subscriptions are cotermed we can not reverse this transaction.
