Integrating Avigilon Alta with Workday® Human Capital Management.

This interface between Workday and Avigilon Alta is established via a web service that transfers employee data from Workday to the Avigilon Alta system. The interface includes two web services: one required and one optional.
To set up this interface, you must install the Workday App from our marketplace.
Required Service
A custom report from Workday must be enabled as a web service to provide the necessary employee information. This report can be tailored to meet the specific needs of Avigilon Alta customers by including or excluding particular employee data fields.

Optional Service
An additional custom report from Workday can be enabled as a web service to provide a list of access security-related group information for employees. These groups are configured in Workday as a custom list, and the security access group to which each employee belongs is specified as a custom field.

How to create ISU & ISSG describes the configuration steps for setting up the Integration System User (ISU) account in Workday and giving it appropriate security access to the system. Avigilon Alta will use the ISU along with the associated credentials to call the web service and get employee and security access group data from Workday.
It is recommended that the Workday customer first implement and test the interface in their development/test environment (Implementation and/or Sandbox Workday tenants) before migration to the Production environment.
Once the Workday customer of Avigilon Alta systems completes the configuration of the reports and security setup, they will provide the following information to allow connection between Avigilon Alta and Workday
