v2.4.0 You can now create ACUs from the Alta Access app without adding them to the Avigilon Alta Access system first. After installing the hardware, Press the admin button on the Controller, Core Board, Video Reader Pro/Video Reader Intercom Pro, or SDC, then use the Alta Access app to add the Device(s). Click the + in the top right corner, fill out the requested information, and click Create and provision. This automatically adds connected expansion boards and populates the device in the Avigilon Alta Access system under Devices.
Note: Minimum Requirements for the Avigilon Alta Access app v2.4.0 is IOS 16 or Android 13
User Management
From the bottom bar menu, you will select Users.
You can add a user from there by clicking the plus ➕ at the bottom of the screen. This lets you add their Name, Email, Status, Start, and End dates, Access groups, and create and send a Mobile Credential.
You can also choose to edit a user by clicking the user name. This lets you edit their Name, Email, Status, Start and End dates, Access groups, and create and send a Mobile Credential.
Provision Devices
Select Devices from the bottom menu bar
Press the ADMIN button on the Controller Board, Core Board, Video Reader Pro/Video Reader Intercom Pro, or SDC.
Clicking either the Plus ➕ OR Scan for devices at the bottom of the screen allows you to add a device to be provisioned. Just click the device you want to add and follow the steps to provision it.
