Note: Creating a user with an email that matches a pre-existing Deleted user will reactivate that user with all the permissions and credentials they had before deletion.

Creating a User user in Avigilon Alta Access can be accomplished in different ways. You can manually create a user like so:

  1. Go to https://control.openpath.com/login and log in. To access the European Control CenterAlta Access, please go to https://control.eu.openpath.com/login.

  2. Go to Users > Users.

  3. Click the (+) sign on the top right-hand side of the page.

4. On the Create User page, fill out the user information, Email, First Name, Last Name, Start and End dates, and Time Zone if you would like.

5. To add a user image:

A. Click on the image icon
B. Upload a JPG, PNG, or GIF (700KB max size)
C. Click Save

Note: The user'sTime Zone can only be changed if you have a Start date, End date, or both.

To give the user access to the Control Center you will need to Alta Access toggle the Portal Access and assign them a role. Please see How do I create and assign roles. Once complete click Save at the bottom of the page.

6. Now follow the steps on the following links to learn how to create a Mobile, Card, and Avigilon Keypad Pin Credentials then click Save at the bottom of the page when you are finished.
