The current Openpath Jira and Confluence instances will be migrated to the MSI On-Premise solution from August 9th-11th, the current platform will be set to read-only and all future usage will be in the Avigilon Instance. Avigilon Alta offers a wide variety of report types:

  • Activity logs - Display a list of all unlock requests and hardware-related events across your Avigilon Alta access control system.

  • Alarms - You can review alarm reports and actions made to the alarms like creating, triggering, acknowledging, notes, etc.

  • Credentials - View all credentials within your organization filtered based on credential type.

  • Entry access audit - A view of which users have access to any given entry.

  • Entry activity (by user) - Select the entry and view user access to it.

  • Entry activity summary - A group of charts with daily and hourly summaries.

  • Muster - View users who may be on-site during an emergency evacuation.

  • Portal Audit Report - shows a log of changes made in the Control Center or through the Avigilon Alta API.

  • Scheduled reports - Set up a report or reports to run at specific times.

  • User Access Audit - select or type in the name of a user to view all entries they have access to.

  • User activity (by entry) - Select the user and view their activity.

  • User activity summary - A group of charts with daily and hourly summaries.

  • User and Entry Activity Reports - view user activity and entry activity via helpful charts and diagrams.

  • Visual Activity Report - view video snapshots related to entry events, and filter by user, site, entry, and time.

To generate a report:

  1. Go to https://control.openpath.com/login and log in. To access the European Control Center, please go to https://control.eu.openpath.com/login.

  2. Under Reports, click on the report type you’d like to generate.

  3. Select a time period for the report and configure report settings.

  4. (Activity Logs only) Select Report Delivery:

    1. Deliver to Browser — When using this method, do not refresh or close the browser tab. Reports may take a few minutes to generate. Not recommended for large datasets.

    2. Deliver via Email — Useful for large datasets, select this method to run the report in the background and receive an email when the report is done. You can deliver the report to multiple email addresses.

  5. Click Search.

  6. To download a report, click Export to CSV.

To schedule a report (Premium and Enterprise plans only):

  1. Go to https://control.openpath.com/login and log in. To access the European Control Center, please go to https://control.eu.openpath.com/login.

  2. Go to Reports > Scheduled Reports.

  3. Click Add Scheduled Report.

  4. Enter a name for the scheduled report, then select the type of report (currently only Activity Logs and Portal Audit Reports are supported).

  5. Select a time period for the report and configure report data settings.

  6. Enter email addresses to send the reports to and select a Frequency.

  7. Click Save.

To view report history (Premium and Enterprise plans only):

  1. Go to https://control.openpath.com/login and log in. To access the European Control Center, please go to https://control.eu.openpath.com/login.

  2. Go to Reports > Scheduled Reports, then go to the Report History tab.

  3. Previously generated scheduled reports will appear here. A scheduled report will expire after 30 days. Click Download to download a CSV copy of the report.
