Note: These instructions apply to users who are created in Avigilon Alta. If a user is synced to Avigilon Alta via an identity provider integration (Azure AD or Okta, for example), then any changes must be made within that third-party platform. |
To anonymize an Openpath Avigilon Alta user:
Go to https://control.openpath.com/login and log in. To access the European Control Center, please go to https://control.eu.openpath.com/login.
Go to Users > Users and click on the user to edit their details.
Change the email address to a fake email. We recommend using Openpath’s Avigilon Alta’s designated domain for anonymous emails, for example,
user@noemail.openpath.com.Delete any PII, including First and Last Name.
Delete the user’s photo by clicking on the photo, then select Delete from the dropdown.
Click Save.
