To create an Entry:
Go to https://control.openpath.com/login and log in. To access the European Control Center, please go to https://control.eu.openpath.com/login.
Go to Sites > Entries.
Click the plus(+) sign in the top right corner to Add an Entry.
Note: Below are the only differences between a typical Openpath reader entry and an entry with an Openpath Keypad reader.

Basic Info
Enter a name and select the Zone (we recommend adding an identifier to the name e.g “Main entry Keypad”.
Cloud Gateway device - Select Openpath.
The Controller is the ACU the keypad is wired to.
Entry Behavior
Entry Behavior now includes new Default State options for the Openpath Keypad. A PIN is also a valid option in Convenience and Onsite Only.
Standard Security MFA - PIN Standard MFA - Allows most mobile access, cards, and PINs supported by Openpath readers, and excludes remote mobile 1FA and third-party Wiegand methods for MFA with PIN required as the second factor.
Strict Security MFA - PIN Strict MFA - Allows only interactive 2FA onsite mobile access, PINs, and encrypted smartcards excluding all remote, 1FA, and non-encrypted methods for MFA with PIN required as the second factor.
Cards, NFC, PIN - Cards, NFC, PIN only.
Openpath Reader
If you are using MFA for the Openpath Keypad Reader you will need to turn off the “Wave to unlock” toggle to prevent false touch events.
Associate the Entry with the Openpath Reader.
Port — select the port on the ACU to which the Openpath Reader is connected.
Card Reading — enable this to allow RFID/NFC cards at this reader.
Wave to Unlock — enable this to allow Wave to Unlock and Touch Entry.
Mobile Authorization Range — This range specifies how close the mobile device must be to the reader in order to register a Wave to Unlock. Set the range using the slider.
Wave Detection Range — This range specifies how close the hand must be to the Openpath reader to initiate the unlock attempt—this behavior may vary depending on your environment and this setting might require adjustment.
Auto Proximity Unlock (Elevators Only) — enable this to unlock the Entry when a User with a valid mobile credential is in range of the reader. Set the range using the slider.
Advanced Options — toggle this to configure advanced range options for the Openpath Reader:
Mobile Reader Range — the distance that the reader can detect a mobile phone that is in BLE range.
Mobile Beacon Range — the distance that the beacon can detect a mobile phone and “wakes up” the Openpath app.
New Advanced Options for the Openpath Keypad Reader - Ability to turn on/off the key press Audible feedback (beep), and ability to turn on/off key press LED feedback (lights) and the “Allowed time interval for completion of 1FA PIN entry”.
