How to make a call from the Video Intercom

  1. When you are at the Video Reader Intercom Pro, press the button on the device.

  2. Listen to the options it offers.

  3. Choose which option you want and speak clearly into the Video Intercom Reader.


How to call the Video Intercom from the Openpath App

Note: Proper permissions are needed to call the Video Intercom Reader.

  1. Open the Openpath app and click on the camera icon at the bottom of your screen.

2. Once you get the live feed, Click the phone icon at the bottom of the video.

3. This will bring you to the Video Intercom feed where you can speak with the people at the intercom, unlock the door, mute the call, or hang up.

Answering a Video Intercom call from your Openpath App

  1. When you are being called via the intercom you will get a phone notification (Visual results may depend on the phone).

2. You will tap your notification to bring up the call. You can decide to Ignore, Unlock, or Accept the call.

Answering Video Intercom calls from the Control Center

Note: You need Control Center access to do the following.

  1. While you are logged into the Control Center and a call comes through, you will get a notification in the lower right corner of your screen that will allow you to answer the call.

2. Click on “View call” which will bring up the Video Intercom Feed that shows a phone icon on the top of the feed. Click the icon to answer the call.

Note: To get notifications you will need to navigate to your user settings at the top right corner of the screen, click on “My profile”, then click on Settings, and finally toggle “Enable intercom notifications”.
