A Lockdown Plan lets allows you to change the state status of an entry (or several entries) with your choice of trigger method, including via one or more entry points using various trigger methods. These methods include the mobile app, the Control Center, a Avigilon Alta Access, designated card credential credentials presented at the a reader, or third-party wired and IoT buttons. Some examples Examples of Lockdown Plans include:

• A plan that locks Locking all entries (e.g., a suspicious package/person scenario).

• Locking all perimeter entries and unlocks unlocking all interior doors (e.g., like for a lockout procedure

• A plan that locks all entries near a delivery room, like for a suspicious package scenario

• A plan that unlocks ).

• Unlocking all doors within a building (e.g., like for an open house event

Creating a Lockdown Plan

1. Log In:

   1. Log in to the Openpath Control Center at https://control.openpath.com/login

   and log in

2. Navigate to Lockdown Plans:

   1. Go to Sites > Lockdown

   Plans and click Create Lockdown Plan

   1. plans and click the + sign (top right corner) to add a lockdown plan.

3. Lockdown tab - Set up your plan:

   • Name and Rank: Give the plan a

   useful

   • meaningful name and assign

   a 

   • a rank. The rank

   is important because it determines which plans take priority in the case of triggering multiple plans that share entries. The lower the number, the higher the rank.

   • Optionally, you can enter determines the plan's priority if multiple plans are triggered simultaneously. Lower numbers indicate higher priority.

   • Duration: Optionally, set a time after which the plan will auto-revert using Auto-Revert Plan. If you do not want the Lockdown Plan to revert automatically, leave this value blank.

4. Optionally, you can enable the Use standard (free-eligible) zone configuration slider to create a Lockdown Plan that includes all Zones with triggered states of Lockdown - Override Only.

5. Click Add Zone to select which Entries this Lockdown Plan will affect

   • automatically revert. Leave this blank if you don't want the plan to revert automatically.

   • Zone Configuration: With standard zone configuration (default), all zones will be automatically added to the plan with a triggered state of Lockdown - Override. Access will be only allowed to users/groups with override permissions.

6. Add zones (Flexible plans only):

   1. Un-toggle Use standard zone configuration.

   2. Click Add Zone to select specific entries affected by the lockdown plan.

      1. For lockdown scenarios, choose the "Lockdown - Override Only" entry state, restricting access to users/groups with override permissions.

7. Click Save.

Select the desired Entry State for the Zone. For lockdown scenarios, we recommend using Lockdown - Override Only. This means only Users with Override permissions are able to unlock Entries in this state.
