Basic Info

  • Enter a name and select the Zone (we recommend adding an identifier to the name e.g “Main entry Keypad”.

  • Cloud Gateway device - Select Openpath.

  • The Controller is the ACU the keypad is wired to.

Entry Behavior

Entry Behavior now includes new Default State options for the Avigilon Keypad. A PIN is also a valid option in Convenience and Onsite Only.

  • Standard Security MFA - PIN Standard MFA - Allows most mobile access, cards, and PINs supported by Avigilon readers, and excludes remote mobile 1FA and third-party Wiegand methods for MFA with PIN required as the second factor.

  • Strict Security MFA - PIN Strict MFA - Allows only interactive 2FA onsite mobile access, PINs, and encrypted smartcards excluding all remote, 1FA, and non-encrypted methods for MFA with PIN required as the second factor.

  • Cards, NFC, PIN - Cards, NFC, PIN only.

Openpath Reader

If you are using MFA for the Avigilon Keypad Reader you will need to turn off the “Wave to unlock” toggle to prevent false touch events.
