Note: To set up a mantrap configuration in Avigilon Alta, you'll need to create a Lockdown plan and a handful of rules available with the basic Rules Enginerules engine. |
First, configure two generic inputs:
Go to https://control.openpath.com/login and log in. To access the European Alta Access, please go to https://control.eu.openpath.com/login.
Go to Devices > ACUs.
Click the ACU that contains door A, then click the Ports tab.
Select a Contact contact or REX input that is unused by an entry and change it to a Generic Input.
Note: This input must physically connect to a contact sensor on door A.
Repeat these steps to create a Generic Input generic input on the ACU that contains door B (this may be the same ACU).
To ensure proper functionality, contact sensors must be configured for each entry point of doors A and B, in addition to the generic inputs. For the mantrap setup, the wires connecting to the generic inputs must be connected in parallel with the contact sensors.
