If you're using an Android device as a mobile credential, you may see a system notification regarding battery and data usage by the Openpath Avigilon Alta Open app. It might say something like "Openpath Avigilon Alta Open is using battery" or "Openpath Avigilon Alta Open is running in the background." This is normal and does NOT mean the app is using excessive amounts of battery. The app needs to run in the background in order for Wave to Unlock to work. If you'd rather not have the Openpath Avigilon Alta Open app running in the background, see How do I disable the Openpath Avigilon Alta Open app foreground service on Android?
To disable this notification, swipe right on the notification. Click the gear icon to go to your notification settings.
