Starting May 13th, 2024, we will have an update for Avigilon Alta hardware devices.
We are moving upgrading all controllers to an updated a newer Linux kernel and operating system . The update is version, specifically from kernel Version 4.x to 5.x. This update enhances is aimed at improving the stability and security of the operating system and provides , as well as ensuring better compatibility for future feature developments.
We Additionally, we are also updating the firmware of the Smart Reader and Expansion Board Firmware to improve enhance performance and resolve outstanding address any existing bugs.
This Please note that this is a manual update and not part of your scheduled maintenance window at this time. Update the devices by going To update your devices, navigate to Devices > Device updates, you can click .
