Please ensure access to MSI Jira & MSI Confluence, both are accessible through OKTA. For additional information and details please refer to the Atlassian migration page
How do I disable the Avigilon Alta Open app's foreground services on Android?
For Wave to Unlock to work, the Avigilon Alta Open app runs in the background and "wakes up" when you are near an Avigilon reader. If you'd rather not have the app run in the background, you can disable it, but please note that you'll need to open the Avigilon Alta Open app every time you unlock a door.
To disable the foreground service
Open the Avigilon Alta Open app
Tap on the menu icon in the upper left corner (aka the burger menu)
Tap Settings
Uncheck Wave to Unlock Service (previously known as Avigilon Alta Open Service)
That's it! Avigilon Alta Open will no longer run in the background, but you'll need to open the Avigilon Alta Open app to unlock entries in the future.
