Wire the button to the ACU:

  1. Go to https://control.openpath.com/login and log in. To access the European Control Center, please go to https://control.eu.openpath.com/login.

  2. Go to Devices > ACUs, then click on the ACU to edit it.

  3. Click on the Ports tab.

  4. Click Port next to the input wired to the button (in this example, Contact4).

  5. Select Generic Input from the Input Type dropdown, then click Save.

  1. Go to Configurations > Rules and click the plus(+) sign on the top right to Create a Rule.

  2. Enter a name and description for the rule.

  3. In the Trigger section:

    1. From the Type dropdown select Input .

    2. From the Event dropdown, select Generic Input State Changed.

  4. In the Conditions section:

    1. Click Add Condition.

      1. From the Type dropdown, select ACU Port Filter.

      2. From the ACU To Match dropdown, select the ACU with the wired button.

      3. From the ACU Port To Match dropdown, select the button's Generic Input (in this example, Contact4).

    2. Click Add Condition again.

      1. From the Type dropdown, select Input State.

      2. From the State to Match dropdown, select the appropriate state (this depends on how the button is wired).

        1. For toggle switch buttons wired to NC, select high to trigger and low to revert.

        2. For toggle switch buttons wired to NO, select low to trigger and high to revert.

  5. In the Actions section:

    1. From the Type dropdown select Lockdown.

    2. From the Lockdown Plan dropdown, select the plan you’d like the button to trigger.

    3. From the Lockdown Action dropdown, select Trigger Lockdown.

  6. Repeat steps 1-5, but in step 5 under the Lockdown Action dropdown, select Revert Lockdown.

  7. Click Save.
